The -10 Floor
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
The -10 Floor is a Classic Roguelike Shooter, where the goal is very simple : to conquer the 10th floor of the Underground Purple Dungeon. So far no one has completed this ancient trial, do you got what it takes?
P.S. : In the current build of the game reaching the -10 Floor is impossible because this project is early access so please stay tuned for updates.
Thank you very much for checking out my game, I hope that you will have a great time.

Hey, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback with you :D
-The main idea of the game and the main mechanics from the character and enemies work very well.
-Visually is quite well tought but it needs some work in the particles and animations.
-The sound is nicely done.
-The rooms need to be polished as you can see a big part of the room without getting into it.
-More and diverse rooms (try to add new shapes and obstacles on them to make them feel different between themselves)
The idea is great and I hope you keep working on it. Hopefully this is useful for the development :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)
Regards
I really like the art style and the music is very funky and fits perfectly so well done! Already a really nice mix of enemy types that all feel different and the sound effects are good as well.
Some tips/ideas:
It would really help to have some sound for when your gun needs to reload because at the minute its hard to tell especially when you're in a battle.
Also I think making some distinction between levels like changing the colours slightly would give a good sense of progression. Maybe have some enemy types that only appear in later levels (pretty sure there isn't at the minute) so that the game gets progressively harder. Also perhaps a reward for getting to the next level like some extra coins or a coin multiplier as sometimes I didn't know whether to explore this floor or move to the next.
The guns seem to get a lot better as you upgrade which may mean the player finds the game too easy when they unlock them. To combat this you could make guns feel very unique and so some are good for certain types of enemies
That being said its still really good so keep it up!
Currently making my own top-down shooter so decided to give your demo a try and give you some constructive feedback from another game dev in the same position.
Minor things I noticed: I can’t shoot during iframes, maybe this was intended and if so then maybe give the player a slight benefit like a speed boost or knockback because it feels like a timeout. The gun pivoting is off, maybe set the sprite’s pivot to the back of the gun so it feels like it’s being held properly.
Think about camera placement, having the camera lock to the player is fine for now but give them some control or think about how you would place it over the action. For example 'Enter the Gungeon' places the camera between the cursor and the player.
Feedback – give the player more of an idea what is happening in the game. When monsters die maybe give them a bit of knockback and make it satisfying. Add in proper doors/barriers so the player knows they are locked in. The minion spawn maybe needs to be bigger and or make a sound (especially when off screen). I noticed some enemies would come out of nowhere and not sure if this is a bug or a result of this.
Controls are fine, maybe put reload on ‘R’.
Art – maybe not something you’re worried about too much right now but try to keep to a colour palette and style. The exit blends in too well with the floor, maybe I’m dumb but I completely missed it on my first floor.
Now more high-level, if you want to work on this more and finish this game think about a core mechanic. Some design choice or aesthetic or gameplay that makes me, or anyone else want to play your game. Also give me a reason to explore the whole map, good rogue-likes give you a reason to explore and find new things to get upgrades or other pickups. Secret rooms or map interactables are a really easy way to do this.
This might seem like I’m ragging on and maybe some things you’ve already thought about, but I would like to say that the game seems quite polished currently and you’ve clearly got a grip on what you want out of the game. The map generation and seems good and definately something you could build upon with time.
I wanted some feedback but that was honestly more that i can ask for.
Thank you so much and good luck with your game.
